From THE EAST

It’s best to approach via Northampton and the A45 or M1 – as the route from the A14 is rather complicated and involves some TIGHT turns through some VERY narrow villages…

However….

IF you wish to travel via the A14 (as I do)….

Leave the A14 at junction 1 (A5199) and at the top, turn RIGHT onto the A5199

After 3/4 mile at the cross-roads turn RIGHT towards Cold Ashby and follow this road for 4 miles until you get to the A428 roundabout.

At the A428 roundabout, take the 2nd exit into the village of West Haddon and continue over 2 mini-roundabouts.

Just after you cross the M1 and the Canal (just North of Watford Gap services) you will come to the junction with the A5.  Turn LEFT

After about 2 miles you will come to a cross-roads (Long Buckby Wharf) where you need to turn RIGHT onto the B4036.

Follow this road for 4 miles until you get to the T-Junction (Daventry Golf Club in front) – Turn RIGHT here.

At the next roundabout go straight on and also at the next roundabout (Abbey Retail Park) go straight on.

At the next roundabout (sign posted Town Centre) – again, go straight on.

You will come to another roundabout (Gulf Service station to right) – take the 1st exit onto the A45 (Northampton)

At the next roundabout (Royal Oak) go straight on.

You should pass the Ford factory to your right

At the next roundabout (A425 Leamington) – take the 3rd exit (Daventry Sports Park)

I did warn you it was a long winded route!!!
